Grand Timber Lodge

Grand Timber Lodge is the property that started it all for Breckenridge Grand Vacations — the timber-and-stone lodge near the Snowflake lift, between Peaks 9 and 10, whose success launched the company's later Peak 7 and Peak 8 lodges. Condo-style suites come with full kitchens and fireplaces, and the grounds hold indoor/outdoor pools, year-round hot tubs and an on-site ski rental shop. Though it operates on a vacation-ownership model, it rents nightly to the public.

BGV is the genuine local article: founded in 1984 by brothers Mike and Rob Millisor with partner Mike Dudick, headquartered in Breckenridge, and employing more than 650 people in the community. USA Today has named it a national top workplace — the only Colorado mountain-town employer so honored in 2023-24. The free town shuttle stops at the door for the three-block hop to Main Street.
