A French family — father, mother, daughter and son-in-law, two generations working side by side — runs this bakery and bistrot on south Main Street, one of the only family-operated businesses of its kind in Summit County. Traditional delicacies come out of the kitchen fresh every day: flaky croissants, pain au chocolat, meringues, sweet and savory crepes, omelets, and sandwiches built on house-baked baguettes.

The bistrot side carries the menu from quiche through coq au vin, with French wines to match. The pastry case is widely considered the best French baking in the county, and the Breckenridge Tourism Office repeatedly features the shop as a woman-owned, family-run standout.

One note on timing: doors open 8am to 4pm, but Wednesdays are dark — plan the croissant run accordingly.
