About
The Montana Indigenous Tourism Alliance, with support from the BIA Office of Indian Economic Development, was thus formed to provide Tribes with a greater collective voice and the ability to share knowledge and ideas, in order to build tourism thru collaboration among our native nations and communities. Our goal is to further tourism that is sustainable, culturally and environmentally sensitive, and economically sound. MITA provides us with the opportunity to share our tribal stories and cultural heritage in our own voice.
