About
The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) manages global standards for sustainable travel and tourism. The GSTC Standards form the foundation for international accreditation of certification bodies that certify accommodations, tour operators, and destinations as having sustainable policies and practices in place. GSTC does not directly certify any products or services; but provides an accreditation program for certification bodies.
GSTC has teamed up with GoGood to encourage greater adoption of sustainable tourism practices and the GSTC Standards by destinations and tourism businesses. We are collaborating on a platform to highlight GSTC-certified entities and are exploring opportunities to integrate the GSTC Standards into the GoGood Travel platform, and the GoGood Travel platform on the GSTC website.
