Starry Nights Ranch

Starry Nights Ranch is a rustic, family-style bed and breakfast located in the beautiful Mancos Valley, four miles north of the gateway town of Mancos and near Mesa Verde National Park. The property sits on a small mesa top with unobstructed views of Mesa Verde and nightly sunsets. Founded by Sandie Fritz to realize her lifelong dream of sharing western adventure and a Colorado mountain getaway, it is operated by Sandie along with her mother Bonnie and sister Nancy.

Rather than functioning like a hotel, Starry Nights Ranch operates as a home where guests are provided a bedroom with private bath and are invited to join the owners in the great room. Breakfast is usually included and features ranch-style meals with savory casseroles, eggs, potatoes, vegetables, fresh-baked breads, homemade jams and jellies, desserts, and beverages, served communally around a ten-foot table at approximately 8:30 AM. The ranch accommodates dietary restrictions including vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan needs.

Guests have access to a shared kitchen area with coffee, tea, snacks, and fresh cookies. The great room is decorated with an extensive selection of books, games, and puzzles. The property includes a fully self-contained Cowboy Cabin option that operates more like an Airbnb.

Pets are welcome in the cabin (maximum two) for a $25 cleaning fee. The owners are knowledgeable about regional attractions and provide brochures and maps to help guests explore Southwest Colorado.
