Breck Free Ride

You don't need a car in Breckenridge — and the Free Ride is the reason why. The town's fare-free public bus system, owned and operated by the Town of Breckenridge since 1997, moves riders on color-coded routes throughout town and to the ski resort base areas at no charge, seven days a week from 6:15am to 11:45pm.

The hub is Breckenridge Station at 150 Watson Avenue, at the base of the BreckConnect Gondola, where you can also transfer to the free county-wide Summit Stage and reach Frisco, Keystone and beyond without spending a dime. Every bus carries two bike racks and a wheelchair lift, and many routes serve trailheads — so the system works as well for a hike or ride as it does for a dinner reservation.

Download the My Free Ride app for real-time bus locations, then leave the parking headache to someone else.
