The map guide visitors actually use

Every curated place in your destination, browsable by map and gallery, searchable and filterable. The embeddable map widget and guide is installable on any phone in two taps – no app store.

Map and list, side by side

On a desktop the Golden guide splits into a resizable panel and a live map. Filter by category, sort by distance, and watch the pins follow. A pin carries the place’s Stewardship Score colour once the business has chosen to share one.

In every visitor’s pocket

On a phone the guide is a progressive web app. Visitors add it to their home screen in one tap, with nothing to download and no account to make. It opens to your destination, not to a search box.

Switch to the map

Map mode puts the places around the visitor front and centre: near me, along a street, or around a town. Pins cluster at a distance and open into cards up close, and a tap on any card jumps to its page.

One town or a whole state, country, or bioregion

A guide can be a single destination or a nest and overlapping collection of guides. GoGood Colorado gathers the state’s towns and regions into one guide with a page for each, while a town guide keeps the focus local. Scenic byways, trails and multi-stop tours sit alongside places.

Borders are optional

The Crown of the Continent guide follows a landscape rather than a boundary: one map of places across Montana, Alberta and British Columbia, with its own domain. A guide can be drawn around a watershed, a byway, a tribal nation or a trade corridor just as easily as a county.

No ads, no promoted listings, no booking fee in between

Every place links straight to its own website, phone number and directions. Nothing is ranked by who paid, and no tracker follows the visitor around the web. That is why destinations can put the guide in front of their own visitors without reservation.

  • Search across names, categories and towns, accented and non-Latin names included
  • Favourites and a saved list that survive between visits
  • Share a place with a rich preview card on any messaging app
  • Works on the welcome center kiosk and inside a partner website with the same data
Thematic and branded guides

A guide can feature a theme as well as a place

The same platform builds a map guide around a standard or certification, or a category or a brand, under that organisation’s own logo and filters.
