Presented by Title Sponsor First Interstate Bank, the Whitefish Trail Hootenanny will be held on Friday August 19 in Depot Park in downtown Whitefish! This favorite community event celebrates our local trails and open lands with live music, local beer, food trucks, raffle, and kids activities.

Thanks to music sponsors Great Northern Bar and Casey’s Whitefish, three different bands will take the stage. Artists TBA! Tickets will go on sale in early summer 2022, so check [HERE] (Wt Hootenanny) for updates.

The annual music festival and family dance party fundraising event line-up for 2022 will be announced soon! Kid’s activities will include a bike obstacle course, climbing rock wall, painting station and more. Food trucks and beverages will be available for purchase.

The Whitefish Trail offers over 42 miles of x-country and freeride on natural surface trails accessible by twelve trailheads located in a forested, rural environment popular for biking, hiking and equestrian use. The diverse trail system is utilized by outdoor enthusiasts and families including hikers, dog walkers, mountain bikers, horseback riders and runners, of all abilities. The trail’s recreation and conservation projects are made possible through a collaborative effort with Whitefish Legacy Partners, the City of Whitefish, Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, Montana State Parks - a division of Fish, Wildlife and Parks, Flathead County, US Forest Service, Flathead Land Trust, private landowners, many local volunteers and donors.
