Jefferson County Government Center–Golden station
The Jefferson County Government Center–Golden station sits at the western end of RTD's W Line, the light rail route that runs between Golden and downtown Denver. It's the last stop heading west, set on the grounds of the Jefferson County Government Center, and it's where you catch the train into the city or step off to explore Golden. Platforms, ticket machines, and connecting bus service put car-free travel across the metro area within reach.

The station opened in April 2013 as part of FasTracks, the regional plan that expanded rail across the Denver area. Its position beside the county government campus makes it a practical hub for both commuters and visitors, and the western setting means you're already at the foot of the foothills when you arrive.
Riding the W Line is a low-impact way to reach Golden without adding a car to the road. Fares are straightforward, the platforms are free to enter, and the line links directly to trails, breweries, and the historic downtown a short ride or walk away.
