Jeffco Open Space Foundation raises funds to support programs and initiatives that connect people to the outdoors and preserve nature. The foundation's vision is 'The outdoors for everyone forever.' Core beliefs guide the work: people need nature to thrive, nature must be loved and cared for, children are nature's next stewards, and experiential learning is lasting.

The foundation operates three main trusts: Outdoors for All, which provides supplies, equipment, transportation, and enhanced accessibility to nature for everyone through school transportation programs, adventure clubs, adaptive bicycles, and youth scholarships; Good Stewards, which supports responsible use and trail courtesy education, volunteer programs, and youth development initiatives that care for and protect public lands; and Land & Trails, which supports open space and parkland acquisitions and trail projects. Supporting the Jeffco Open Space Foundation preserves public lands and adds to the legacy of access for all.
