Good Times Adventures

At the end of Tiger Road, a few miles northeast of downtown Breckenridge, a local family has run Good Times Adventures since 1986 — the only snowmobile and dog-sledding operator actually based in Summit County. The lodge sits where the trail system meets the White River National Forest, and the resident kennel of working Siberian huskies is the heart of the operation.

On the dog-sled tour you don't just ride: guests mush their own team about six miles through the Swan River Valley over roughly 1.5 hours, rotating between sled and seat at the halfway point. Snowmobile tours run current-model Ski-Doo sleds on an extensive permitted trail network with an open practice area, with routes suited to both first-timers and experienced riders.

Arrive 30 minutes early and book well ahead — this is consistently among Breckenridge's top-ranked winter activities, and reservations paid in full are required.
