Day Soaking

Day Soaking at Orvis Hot Springs opens the grounds for a full day in the water. Ten soaking areas spread across the property — seven outdoors, three indoors — fed by natural lithium mineral water that ranges from a cold 62 degrees up to a hot 114. Alternate between a steaming outdoor pool, a sauna, and a cold plunge, and find the temperature that suits you. The outdoor soaking is clothing optional for adults 18 and over, so expect a relaxed, unhurried crowd.

The mineral water here is the draw: lithium-rich and naturally heated, it comes straight from the ground rather than from any added treatment. With pools at a spread of temperatures, you set your own rhythm — ease into the warm, cool off in the plunge, then warm back up again.

Adult day passes run $30 to $35, children $12, with towels available for $3. The grounds are open 9am to 9pm, leaving plenty of time to settle in.
