Why list with us

What a listing gives your business

Reach travelers who choose local on purpose, and get credit for how you already operate.

Found by travelers who choose local

Your listing reaches visitors who are specifically looking for locally-owned, community-rooted places — not the top of a paid ad auction.

A profile you control

Photos, story, hours, and links, kept current by you. Update it any time; changes go live after a quick review.

Credit for how you operate

Show what you already do well — local sourcing, fair work, care for place — in a profile built to surface it rather than bury it.

A free stewardship benchmark

The Stewardship Scan scores your practices across ten dimensions and shows you where you stand, with practical steps to improve.

Part of the destination story

You appear alongside the region's other vetted businesses in a guide the destination itself promotes.

A real person to ask

Questions about your listing go to our team, not a ticket queue. We help you get it right.

Every kind of local

Create a Destination Stewardship Network

Go a step further: form a network of the places that pledge to your destination's stewardship values, with a shared fund they help govern.

A pledge, not a certification

Places join by accepting the stewardship pledge when they claim their listing. It is a public commitment – GoGood never audits, verifies or certifies.

A fund the network governs

Half of every membership and booking commission earned in your destination goes into its Stewardship Fund. The network decides what it pays for.

A community coordinator

The fund can pay a local contractor to recruit and support members and keep the guide current. One coordinator can serve several destinations.

Listing stewardship pledge

What every listed place agrees to

Every business accepts this pledge when it claims or creates its listing. It is a good-faith commitment, not a certification – GoGood never audits or verifies it.

  • Respect the place and its peopleOperate in ways that honor the local community, culture, and environment of this destination.
  • Reduce our footprintTake practical steps to minimize waste, conserve resources, and lower the impact of our operations over time.
  • Be honest with travelersRepresent our offerings truthfully and avoid overstating environmental or social claims.
  • Support the local economyFavor local suppliers, workers, and partners wherever we reasonably can.
  • Welcome everyoneStrive to be inclusive and accessible, so travelers of all backgrounds and abilities feel respected and able to take part.
  • Keep improvingTreat stewardship as an ongoing practice, not a one-time checkbox, and welcome feedback from the network.
This is the base pledge. A destination with a Stewardship Network may add local commitments to it.Pledge version 2026-05.2
Frequently asked

What businesses ask us

Do I need a card to get listed?

No. Listing is free – there's no subscription, no trial and no payment method to add. Money changes hands only when GoGood sends you a booking (we keep 10%), or if you choose an annual membership to keep 100% of every booking.

What if I want to unpublish a listing?

Unpublish any time from the listing's edit page. There's no subscription behind a free listing, so there's nothing to cancel – republish whenever you're ready.

What if I'm a nonprofit?

Nonprofits list for free like everyone else. If you want to go further, the Nonprofit or micro membership is $100 a year ($10 a month) for any 501(c)(3) or place with one or two staff – keep 100% of every booking and get recognized for your positive local impact. Half of every membership funds local stewardship.

Can I mix the free listing and a membership?

A membership covers your whole business, not individual listings. Every place you list rides on the same choice: the free listing with 10% on bookings GoGood sends you, or one annual membership that keeps 100% of every booking across all of your places.

What does "Destination Partner" mean?

An institution – a DMO, chamber, welcome center, foundation or municipality – that backs the guide for its whole destination with a $3,500 annual membership. Half goes into the destination's Stewardship Fund, which pays the community coordinator. Partners get co-marketing, sponsor recognition across the guide and stewardship reporting for the places they support. More than one may join per destination, and listing stays free for every place either way. A partner can also cover the membership for some or all of the places in its destination, so they list free and keep every booking – priced on the number of places covered.

What is the Stewardship Scan?

It's a short voluntary self-assesment of your stewardship commitments across 10 dimensions of environmental and social stewardship and sustainability. It's also a learning tool to help you understand and enhance your impact on your community.

Do I have to take the Stewardship Scan?

No, you don't have to, but if you do, your listing will be sorted higher in the listings and is more likely to be clicked. Plus, it will demonstrate your commitment to community and environmental stewardship.
