Mancos Trails Group

Mancos Trails Group is an all-volunteer community of hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders and outdoor enthusiasts working with organizations including the Town of Mancos, U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management and Colorado Parks and Wildlife to promote trail stewardship and etiquette. The mission of Mancos Trails Group is to promote trail stewardship, develop and maintain sustainable trails, and promote positive trail interactions among all trail users in the scenic Mancos Valley.

During the summer, the group hosts monthly trail work days and other special events. The organization is an inclusive group that seeks and promotes diversity in its organization and on its trails.
