WOW! Children's Museum
WOW! engages children and families through joyful learning experiences that inspire curiosity and build community. Founded in 1996 by Lisa and Dario Atallah in Louisville, WOW! relocated to the old Lafayette fire station in 2004 with support from the City of Lafayette, and has grown into a beloved community resource serving over 1.5 million children and families from throughout the region. WOW! exists to ensure that every child has a welcoming place where curiosity and learning are fostered through hands-on experiences and the power of play.

The Museum is committed to being a gathering place for all children and families, with accessible spaces, adaptive equipment, social stories, and Sensory Friendly Playtimes for families with children with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual or developmental disorders. As a proud member of the Association of Children's Museums, WOW! serves as a local destination, educational laboratory, community resource, and advocate for children.
