The Whitefish Trail - Reservoir Trailhead
Just minutes from downtown Whitefish, Montana explore the Whitefish Trail in Haskill Basin. Climb 1.5 miles through cedar groves to the Valley Overlook to gain expanding views of Whitefish Lake and the Swan Range. It is the perfect location to watch sunrise or the sunset.
Driving Directions from Nearest Town or Landmark
Take Wisconsin Ave north from Whitefish and turn right on to Reservoir Road. After ½ mile, the trailhead will be on your left. This trailhead is open for year-round recreation and is complete with ADA interpretive trail and picnic area next to Viking Creek.
