Lodging Style and Amenities
The rooms at the Izaak Walton Inn have been remodeled to offer modern amenities with a vintage charm and a true feel for Montana. The Inn is considered to offer the finest lodging experience in and around Glacier National Park. The hotel can accommodate up to 147 guests.Thirty-three cozy rooms allow you to truly relax and get away.
The rooms do not have the distractions of televisions or telephones. Stay in one of four unique caboose rentals or six new family cabins. You will quickly discover why the Inn is called, "A place where time stands still and lets you catch up."

Cross country skiing and ski rentals, rafting, hiking, biking, horse back riding, scenic river trips are opportunities available through the lodge. The Middle Fork of the Flathead River is a stones throw from the property and offers great spring and summer white water adventures. Hikes into Glacier Park and the Great Bear Wilderness can start within minutes of your room.
Driving Directions
By automobile, drive scenic US Highway 2 to milepost 180 (halfway between East and West Glacier) and there the 1/2 mile paved side-road will take you directly to the Inn (a large sign along hiway 2 at Essex, MT points you in the correct direction.
