The Fairmount Trail is a gravel surface trail between the City of Arvada and City of Golden. The Golden section runs along the east side of North Table Mountain in northeast Golden. The trail system is located on an irrigation ditch right-of-way and passes through developed residential areas. The north trailhead is located on 64th Parkway adjacent to the entrance of the Arvada Reservoir and Long Lake Park.

An access trail to North Table Mountain Park allows visitors to make a trek to the mesa without a car ride from points north and east. While only about three miles long, the Fairmount Trail affords connection with the 14-mile Ralston Creek Trail at Long Lake Park, providing for extended rides through residential Arvada.

The south end of the trail can be accessed from Easley Road between Ridge Road and 48th Place, with limited parking at this location. Access to the south end is also available at Tony Grampsas Park. The Fairmount Trail System is about three miles in length and allows bike and horse access.
