Adventure West offers whitewater tubing on Clear Creek in Golden and the South Platte River in Littleton, packrafting, e-bike rentals, tours, sales and service. Rad Power Bike Rentals, Tours, Sales and Service is open daily 10am to 6pm. Golden Tubing is open daily for ages 8 and up who are able to swim; reservations are required, with shuttle service available that saves 2.5 miles of walking. The business also offers guided e-bike tours and sells and services bikes.

Tube Rental Stand

Daily Tube Rental (No Shuttle)

• Includes commercial grade river tube with complimentary lifejacket and helmet.

• Tubing tips and safety talk.

• Walk along the picturesque Clear Creek path with your tube through historic Golden to a variety of put-ins and then float back to Adventure West’s tube stand located right by the takeout in Vanover Park

• Customers generally tube for 2-3 hours; a single trip that includes walking to the furthest put-in (at Route 6 bridge in Golden) and floating back to our take-out takes about 1 hour.

Tube Shuttle Only (BYOT)

• Bring your own single or double tube and buy $15 per person (not per tube) tickets for 2 shuttle rides to the put-in. Our permit does not allow us to transport any tubes larger than doubles and no animals, air mattresses etc.

E-bike Tours

Experience Golden’s premier guided e-bike tours, and discover “where the west lives” in all its glory! Our passionate local guides will lead you through must-see destinations while you cruise comfortably on a pedal-assisted electric bike- helmet, safety vest, and ebike orientation included.

• Ages 14 and up (at least 4’10” tall) may ride their own ebike accompanied by parent/guardian

• Must be comfortable riding a regular bike

• Ages 1-5 ride free on the back of an adult’s bike, ages 6-13 are $20 for the tour.

NATURE  TOUR  – 3 hrs

This epic, 20 mile route will take you to the scenic outskirts of town, where vast open space prairies meet the mighty Front Range. Scan the incredible mountain horizon while learning about the world’s largest single-site brewery (Coors), Railroads, Farming, Mining, and the mighty North & South Table mesa’. There will be plenty of planned pit stops and photo opportunities along the way. This is an intermediate,  3 hour guided tour geared toward sightseeing. The ride will travel along paved bike trails, riverside paths, neighborhood streets, and offroad open space.

DINO ROCK TOUR aka RED ROCKS MUSIC TOUR – 3 hrs

$90/adult, $20/children 6-12, Free ages 1-5                

Venture off on Golden’s scenic backroads and head to one of the world’s top music venues. This 3 hour, 25 mile tour of a lifetime will explore stunning prehistoric landscapes, unique “rock” formations, rugged mountain beauty, and the epic musical history of the Red Rocks Amphitheater. This fun and informative journey takes you to the top of the national historic Red Rocks landmark with stops along the way, including the famous Dinosaur Ridge. While this trek is on mostly paved roads and bike trails, its distance and elevation gains are robust. Intermediate to advanced riders are recommended.

CANYON TOUR  – 1.5 hrs

Experience the best of Golden in this jam-packed, 1.5 hour tour. Riders are enlightened with fresh mountain air as they travel through Golden’s inner parks and neighborhoods before entering the breathtaking beauty of Clear Creek Canyon. This is a mild adventure, along relatively flat and paved terrain. This tour is a MUST for anyone who wants to experience “where the west lives”. Your friendly and knowledgeable guide will make several stops to share Golden’s landmarks and western history.

LAKE HOPPER TOUR – 1.5 hrs

$55/adult, $20/children 6-12, Free ages 1-5                                    

This mild, out-and-back journey, cruises east along far-reaching paved trails, meeting up with the Clear Creek river. Riders travel 8 miles through lush greenbelts and parkways, as they pass by several small lakes that are rich wildlife and bird habitats. The return west provides magnificent mountain views and photo opportunities. With plenty of rest stops built in, riders get a lovely dose of early ancestral and frontier life, including a look at one of the first gold mining locations in Jefferson County, still active today.  This ride stays on mostly flat, paved roads and bike trails. It is great for all riding abilities! Must be 18 to book and rent ebikes
