Windy Saddle Cafe

“The Saddle,” – as we lovingly call it, is charming, cozy, and has a cool Western atmosphere. We are conveniently located in the heart of Golden...Under the Howdy Folks sign and on the west side of Washington. We have a great outdoor seating area to enjoy the Golden vibe. The city offers 2 hours of free parking in the rear or local parking garages.

Our menu boasts gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads, and delicious pastries. Our bakers KNOW what you love. From cinnamon rolls to scones and brownies: Gluten-full, Gluten-free, and vegan. We have a kids menu too. Dogs are welcome on our outdoor patio.

It’s all about the coffee. We use roasters that are experts in their field. Ethically sourced and perfectly roasted. We stand 100% by our espresso and coffee and guarantee you will not be disappointed. We have wine and beer to complement your meals.

Windy Saddle Café has been fueling Golden since 2007. We pride ourselves in using only the finest (many locally sourced) ingredients, impeccable customer care, and premium, sustainable, fair, small-batch roasted coffee. Our café is cozy, welcoming, and busy.

Our Windy Saddle Bake Shop proudly creates and serves up fresh pastries daily. Our repertoire includes pies, quiche, cakes, cinnamon rolls, puff pastry, bars, cookies, scones, and muffins – to name a few! We offer vegan and gluten-free options daily (but are not a dedicated GF/V kitchen). Our GF flours are made in-house. You will not find a better Gluten Free (or gluten-full!) pastry on this side of the divide.
