Ponderosa Campground

We have 20 RV sites and 6 cabins. Four cabins have a bedroom, kitchen and bath. Two cabins have a kitchenette and sleeping accommodations. There is a small store, fly fishing supplies and licenses, laundry and clean restrooms. Enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, jeeping, ATVing and hunting. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Train can be boarded in Antonito, Colorado, or Chama, New Mexico. It is the highest and longest narrow-gauge railroad in the North American continent. Enjoy an authentic railroad trip that brings Colorado history to the present day.

Camping Campsites Rates

All rates are based on double occupancy
Additional person rate (age 6+) is $5 /day/per person
6 people maximum
Dog fee is $5/dog/day (3 dogs maximum). Fee only applies if staying a week or less.
Water & 30 amp. electricity included. We ask that you not run air conditioners. Limited WIFI (available at most sites). Sewer available at most off-river sites.
For sites w/o sewer, a dump station is available.

Cabins

All rates are based on two person occupancy
Additional person rate (age 6+) is $5/night
No pets allowed.
Smoking is not allowed in any cabin.
2 night minimum stay

Going green: Guests must bring their own linens (towels, sheets, and pillowcases), pillows, and sleeping bags/blankets) for your stay in our cabins.
