Ride Share If you don’t have your own transportation, Uber and Lyft are the most convenient and fastest ways to get to Golden from the nearby areas. There are generally drivers around when you need them, but weekday nights can be a little more difficult, so if you’re around late it may be a good idea to check in advance or reserve one.
Train (RTD Light Rail) Denver’s Regional Transportation District (RTD) operates light rail and bus server all around the Denver Metro area. Sadly, the closest the W-Line it will take you to Downtown Golden is the Jefferson Country Federal Center, about 3 miles away. We don’t recommend this option unless you want to take a ride share from the last station into downtown or don’t mind a long walk.
