Friends of Mineral County Emergency Services
Friends of Mineral County Emergency Services (FOMCES) is a 501c3 non-profit organization created to raise money in support of Creede & Mineral County’s Search & Rescue (SAR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Fire Department, and all the Emergency Responder Volunteers. We come from all walks of life, all ages, and all different life experiences who share a passionate desire to give back to the community of Creede and its volunteers. Each year we host a number fundraisers to ensure our invaluable community of Emergency Responder Volunteers have the advanced equipment and training they need to navigate this vast wilderness! Every year Friends of Mineral County Emergency Services, Inc. hosts a variety of fundraisers to raise money in support of our local Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical Technicians and Fire Department volunteers. Donate
Donations to FOMCES are used to fund critical training, purchase lifesaving equipment, and help advance the build of a new integrated Command Center for all the members and volunteers of Mineral County Search and Rescue (SAR), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), and Fire Department. As a 501c3 organization, donations to FOMCES are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. To date (2024), FOMCES has raised over $600,000!
