Cominco Garden

It's surrounded by a canopy of mature trees and the setting is used quite often for weddings and other special occasions. You'll see and smell giant dahlias, there's an extensive display of perennials such as Caterbury Bells and Foxglove as well as over 16,000 annuals that include Livingston Daisies, Marigolds and Petunias. Cominco Gardens and its lovely gazebo has always been a must-see for visitors.

Once in the city of Kimberley, proceed north on Wallinger Ave/4th Avenue following signs to the Medical Clinic. Once at the top of the 4th Avenue hill, turn left onto Rossland Street, then left again into Cominco Gardens parking lot.

Cominco Gardens, first established by Cominco Ltd in 1927, was a natural showcase for Elephant Brand Fertilizer, a locally made product. The Gardens were offered as a gift to the community in 1987, and remain a visual legacy; a floral work of art. The superb care and maintenance creates a rewarding display for everyone to enjoy. Take a scenic stroll through Cominco Gardens where over 45,000 flowers bloom each year!

Cominco Gardens is located within the city and minutes from the downtown core, the Platzl. It is located off of 4th Avenue, in an area of the city called Townsite.
