Cruise on over to Fernie, British Columbia to celebrate Canada Day 2019! Don't miss out on an action-packed day of music and festivities. Event will be held at Fernie Aquatic Centre grounds. For reference, 2019 events are detailed below as a guide:

Celebrations kick off with singing of the national anthem 'Oh Canada' at 1 PM and a Bike/Pet Parade at 1:15 PM.

Following the parade enjoy birthday cake, live music, exhibitions, a treasure hunt, and more. Finish your evening with the grande finale of Fireworks!

Schedule of Events (1 PM - 10 PM)

All day - Food & Refreshments, Kids Zone: Bouncy houses, sandbox, games, crafts, splash park, music

The Elk's Lodge will be hosting the Cardboard Boat Race at MAIDEN LAKE. Registration at 10:30 am at Maiden Lake and race starts at 11:00 AM.

NOON-5 PM - Mountain Market Open

1 PM - Canada Day Festivities Begin - Singing of O'Canada

1:15 PM - Annual Bike & Pet Parade, Live Music and Entertainment Begins

1:30 PM - Cake Cutting & Refreshments

2-5 PM - Free Swim at the Fernie Aquatic Centre

2 PM - Kids Bike Demos & Race

3 PM - Dog Agility Demos

DUSK (around 9:30 PM) - Fireworks
