Times Square is a major transportation hub of New York City. Many of the city’s subway lines run through the area, so you can easily get from here to anywhere in Manhattan – and vice versa. Airport Shuttles Many Times Square hotels offer shuttle services to the airports. Visit our Hotels page for more information on hotels in the area.Several airport shuttles also make pick ups and drop offs at the Port Authority Bus Station on 42nd St and 8th Ave.

General Tips
- Our curb-cut sidewalks are wheelchair-friendly, particularly the Broadway plazas!
- Times Square is a popular destination, particularly during the summer and the month of December. However, if you would like to come at a quieter time, it is typically less crowded in the early morning and the late night.
- Per our pedestrian count data, the busiest pedestrian hours are typically 12pm – 2pm and 4pm – 7pm. The quietest hours are 1am – 6am and 10am – 11am during the workweek.
