The Local

Think of The Local as your New York home. We’re your best friend in New York but you get to sleep in stylish and clean bunk rooms instead of on our couch. Our fridge is always stocked, we always know what’s happening, and we’ve been waiting all year for your visit. We’re the newcomers to the edgy LIC neighborhood in Queens. Our skyline views are the best and we’re just a couple of subway stops from Manhattan and Brooklyn. Our neighbors are artists, gymrats, actors, and mechanics. The city never sleeps but sometimes we like to.

Accomodation

Our rooms are designed just for sleeping with quality mobility access queen mattress and comfortable bedding. Each room has its own bathroom and lots of light. Our accessible rooms are located on the ground floor of the hostel and are wheelchair accessible. The rooms feature doors and floor area with clearance of 32 inches or more, a wheelchair accessible shower, sink and toilet, removable shower heads, lowered towel racks, grab bars in the shower, and a grab bar at the toilet.
