The Cruise Room

The Cruise Room is a revered local landmark and among the most beloved of Denver bars. Sleek and inviting, this icon of Denver nightlife is a hidden gem embodying the chic glamour and undercover indulgence of the Prohibition era. Born the day after the repeal in 1933, The Cruise Room is Denver's longest-running bar and has remained open since its founding.

Drawing inspiration from the RMS Queen Mary, the space's décor showcases unique vintage design features, including distinctly retro Art Deco design and a wine bottle-shaped layout created by hand-carved panels by artist Alley Henson. Inside, guests discover the perfect spot to while the night away while sipping one of the delicious cocktails or sampling an enticing menu of small plates. The famous Martini is a must-try.

The bar does not accept reservations; walk-ins are welcomed. Happy hour runs 5–6 PM Monday through Friday, featuring a bartender's choice known as the Captains Call. Quarterly burlesque performances from 7–9 p.m. add seasonal entertainment.
