Standard UFO Tour

The Standard UFO Tour puts military-grade night vision goggles in your hands and points them at the San Luis Valley sky above Crestone. Over 1.5 hours, a guide walks you through what you're seeing overhead, from satellites and meteors to whatever else crosses the lens, while you settle into zero-gravity chairs built for leaning back and watching. Groups stay small, up to four people, so everyone gets time with the gear.

Crestone sits in one of Colorado's darkest corners, with certified dark skies that make the high-desert valley a natural spot for night watching. The tour leans into that setting and the area's long reputation for unexplained sightings, giving you both the equipment and the local context to make sense of the dark above the Sangre de Cristo range.

The experience runs off the beaten path, away from town lights, and costs $120 per person. Dress warm; valley nights get cold even in summer.
