A group of like-minded folks have banded together to acquire and save this old church, and give it back to the community as an event center. The Society Hall Foundation officially received its 501(c)(3) status on June 1, 2015, and closed on the property on August 3, 2015. The hall hosts concerts, plays, workshops, weddings, memorial services, meetings, film festivals, and other community events in an inviting, warm setting. The organization is actively working to modernize the building and improve its functionality with additional funding and support.
