RAD Hostel
RAD Hostel is on a mission to cure loneliness by helping travelers connect through shared adventures, community dinners, bonfires, hikes, and unforgettable Colorado Springs experiences. Located in the shadow of Pikes Peak, RAD Hostel blends adventure, community, and summer-camp energy into an unforgettable lodging experience for solo travelers, outdoor adventurers, and travelers from around the world. Since opening in 2018, guests from more than 100 countries have stayed here.

Different languages, cultures, and stories fill the shared spaces, but respect, inclusion, and community bring everyone together. Founded by Erin Welch, a longtime Colorado Springs resident with deep hospitality experience, the property was transformed from a long-vacant 1950s roadside motor lodge into a vibrant hostel. The building features colorful murals by contributing artists, a fully equipped communal kitchen (the heart of the hostel with a world map and guest messages in multiple languages), welcoming staff, and outdoor spaces with Rocky Mountain views.

Amenities include private rooms and dorms, work space for digital nomads, lounges, and a back patio with fire pit, hammocks, and slacklines. Staff members are fellow travelers from across the US and countries including Colombia, Brazil, Turkey, and Yemen.
