Latigo and Lace
Themed ‘Montana 1900', Latigo & Lace dresses up Main Street with its western storefront complete with barn wood siding, cedar shakes and a distinctive sign above the door. To promote and support the many artists who live in the region, Latigo & Lace has found wonderful and unusual things that reflect the old western heritage of the area, as well as interest in the local scenery and wildlife.
Highlights of Shopping Offerings
Folks assemble in Augusta for plenty of reasons: to access a million acres of unspoiled, rugged beauty in the high country, to chat with old friends on Main Street, and to shop at Latigo and Lace, a gallery of regional fine art and handcrafts where you can find good books, antler carvings, photography of the area, unusual pottery, hand woven rugs and baskets by local artists, beautiful quilted and sewn things, jewelry, and vests with hand painted scenes with silk ribbon embroidery.
Even if you're not a shopper, take a much needed break from the road at the Cappuccino Bar, where you can soak up information as well as a latte or Italian soda.
