Key Hotel
Key Hotel is a boutique concept hotel located in İzmir's exclusive Kordon district, housed in a restored 1950s modernist bank building designed by award-winning architects Orhan Bolak, Doğan Tekeli, and Ergun Unaran. The hotel underwent a thoughtful restoration in 2011 by designer Derya Akdurak that preserved the building's original architectural integrity while introducing contemporary comfort and technical infrastructure.
Serving primarily the business community, the hotel offers a secure and refined retreat within a sophisticated design environment that interprets the formal and textural language of 1940s-50s modernism through the lens of contemporary needs. The hotel features 31 rooms including Standard, Superior, Family Suite, Executive Suite, Deluxe Suite, and Grand Suite accommodations. All furnishings and décor were custom-designed drawing inspiration from the building's historical details and identity.
The property includes an international restaurant overlooking the magnificent Kordon sunset and a VIP meeting hall accommodating 2-24 guests for intimate dinners, special events, or business meetings. The hotel aims to provide guests with exceptional personalized service, modern amenities, and a distinctive atmosphere unique to İzmir.
