Golden Farmers Market
This annual summer market is spearheaded by the Golden Chamber of Commerce to help several groups of people: local farmers, small-business owners and their employees, community members who use SNAP and Double-Up Bucks, and community members at large. It’s held each Saturday, 8am – 1pm, from the last week of May through the first week of October, at 10th and Illinois in downtown Golden. (Near the library and tennis courts.)
2027 will be our 25th season hosting this impactful market and we draw customers from all over Colorado and beyond for our fresh produce, artisan foods, hand-crafted drinks, artwork, and clothing items.
Plan Your Visit
The market is located in the parking lot at 10th Street & Illinois in Golden (adjacent to the tennis courts) EXCEPT on July 26th, when the market will be relocated to Golden High School, 701 24th Street, Golden.

The Golden Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the summer months
Transportation Options
Free Ore Cart
- Take the complementary Ore Cart from anywhere along the Ore Cart route to the Golden Farmers Market! Click here to access the map and schedule. Buses run every 30-minutes starting at 8am on Saturdays and give you a chance to park remotely and got dropped off nearby.
Paid Street and Lot Parking
- Look for signs for the paid parking options in the surrounding Golden city blocks. In most cases, the first two hours are free, then $2.50 per hour and $10/day max. Even if you are planning to visit for under two hours, you must register your vehicle at a parking kiosk. Please do NOT park on the permit-only neighborhood streets. Parking rules are strictly enforced. We encourage parking south of Clear Creek and walking across the foot bridge with easy access to the market. Private Parking
- Several private parking options not managed or owned by the City are available downtown and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Please be sure to check regulatory signage in these areas prior to parking. Any questions or violation appeals should be directed to the private parking managers.
Bike to Market
- Take your bicycle to the Farmers Market! The City of Golden has added more bike racks for the market and you’ll get exercise, help the environment, and save on parking!
Electric Vehicles & Charging
- Electric Vehicles must register and pay for parking in applicable zones. The parking fee is separate from the EV charging rate. Charging rates are $0.24/kilowatt-hour, plus $1 per 15-minute increment over three hours.
