The Golden Bicycle Cruise is a family friendly event held on the last Tuesday evening of the month, May through September. Participants cruise along the bike paths and streets of Golden. The rides are themed, and riders encouraged to wear costumes and decorate their bikes. 100-150 riders of all ages participate.

Each cruise features a different Golden band and two prize drawings. Beer from New Terrain Brewery is paired with burgers from Bob's Atomic Burgers. The event begins and ends at 818 14th Street, the upper deck of the Calvary Church/Armory parking garage, with the riding portion being a simple loop up to the New Loveland Mine Park and back along the streets and bike trails of Golden.

The whole event takes place between 5:30-9:00pm with kegs tapped at 5:30pm, the cruise ride at 6:30pm, kids giveaway at 7:30pm, and adult giveaway at 8:30pm, with music ending at 9:00pm. The Golden Bicycle Cruise is a fundraiser, with half of the beer sales going towards next year's expenses and the other half being donated to monthly non-profit partners.
