The Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park, also called Dahmeland, lies at the heart of the region south-east of Berlin, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The impact of the Ice Age and the centuries of local human influence produced this exciting and diverse landscape with over 100 lakes, larger and smaller streams, sources, moors, valleys, hills, villages and small towns.
