Cast Iron Tavern
Cast Iron Tavern opened in Golden, CO at the end of 2016. It's a family-friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant that prides itself on creative comfort food and handcrafted cocktails. People call Cast Iron a home away from home - a place to go with the family you were born with or the family you make.

The menu changes twice a year to take advantage of local, seasonal ingredients. They're famous for their 6-inch stacked burgers and candied bacon, with something for every heart and belly, and can accommodate most dietary needs. Chef/Owner Bob Wentworth has a fine dining pedigree and combines his fine dining skill with American classics and the food of his blue-collar Boston roots.
He sources seasonal and local ingredients but is unafraid to use familiar ingredients if that's what it takes to make dishes taste like home. His philosophy is no-nonsense: 'My goal is that every guest experience that "oh, yeah" moment. That's the moment when they take that first bite, nod, smile, and say "oh, yeah" - because in that moment, it's exactly what they wanted and more.'
