11th Avenue Hostel
11th Avenue Hostel is a historic boutique hybrid stay blending the social atmosphere of a hostel with the privacy of a hotel, created for city explorers and history lovers. Located on the corner of 11th & Broadway in the heart of downtown Denver, the building has hosted guests for over a century since 1903. What began as a dream in 2007 to create a place the owner would enjoy staying and would feel comfortable with his kids traveling to slowly evolved through years of thoughtful renovation.

From 2019 to 2022, the family devoted themselves to fully renovating the 1903 hotel into the hostel of their dreams, breathing new life into every detail—fresh bathrooms, new outlets, carefully mapped light fixtures, and a completely modernized space. The hostel officially reopened in February 2022 after four decades of family ownership and operation. It offers private rooms, dorm-style options, and modern shared spaces, along with a cafe and ice cream in the lobby, free WiFi, guest laundry, and vintage details throughout.
Located between the Golden Triangle Creative District and Capitol Hill, guests enjoy unparalleled access to iconic landmarks like the Denver Art Museum, Colorado State Capitol, Molly Brown House, and Cheesman Park, all just steps away. The hostel welcomes world travelers seeking authentic, personal, and thoughtful lodging—affordable travel without sacrificing comfort, cleanliness, or welcoming atmosphere.
