Keep your eyes open for birds, monkeys and if we are lucky, we might even spot the Giant River Otters or the Caiman.

Itinerary

1 Day Trip: Mahaica River

• Early Morning Departure (5am): We leave Georgetown early in the morning as the mornings are the best time to spot wildlife. For guests living in Georgetown or along the way from Georgetown to Mahaica: we will pick you up or depart from a meet-up point. Our guide has a breakfast prepared for you to enjoy during the ride to Mahaica.
• Boat Ride on Mahaica River (6.30 am): when arriving in Mahaica, we step into our boat where we begin our boat ride along the Mahaica River.
  • Morning: Explore the river’s vibrant ecosystem with birdwatching and wildlife spotting
  • Lunch: Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch at a riverside camp
  • Afternoon: enjoy free time to swim in the river, sunbathe, or simply unwind at the river side camp.
• Afternoon Return (4pm): we head back to Georgetown and expect to arrive in town around 4pm.

Trip Logistics

Departure & Return Location:

• Transportation from Georgetown to Mahaicony (return) is included in the package. Pick-up at accommodation or at central meet-up point in Georgetown (depending on group size and structure).

Duration:

• Starts at 5am and ends at 4pm

• Basic: $100 USD per person (minimum and maximum of 4 people)
• Comfort: $155 USD per person (minimum of 4 people, group discounts available from 8 people or more)
