Beach Club

How it works: day passes and lunch Where we are on Tierra Bomba island is around 20 minutes from Cartagena by boat. You can get here in your own boat, on public transport or buy a daypass and come in our shuttle.

We offer full day access, or we also welcome guests for lunch. You can even stop by just for a drink on the way back from the Rosario islands.

You do not need to purchase a day pass to enjoy our restaurant but we recommend reserving your table.

The vibe Anyone who has spent more than a day in the sultry heat of Cartagena, knows how important it is to leave the city and hit the beach as soon as you can.

Blue Apple Beach was inspired by beach clubs in Ibiza and the Côte d'Azur and then we threw in some Colombian magic. During the week it's relaxed, with chill background music all day. On weekends and holidays we have more of a pool party vibe in the afternoon. It's always laid back. It's never a rave. We mostly listen to latin, afro, soul, beach house and disco. Think Hotel Costes on the beach.

Impact

Tourism and business as a force for good

If sustainability is about doing no harm, the concept of regeneration is to actively try to improve the world around us. We want people from all over the world to visit Colombia and stay with us. We can't ignore the environmental impact that has, but we also know how important tourism revenues are for the underserved communities where we operate. So, we do our best to operate Blue Apple in the most positively impactful way we can. We don't buy what we don't need. We avoid single use plastic. We pay attention to the UN'S SDGs (did you know, they were a Colombian proposal?) We recycle. We create pathways for promotion instead of hiring foreign managers. We set goals, me measure data. We think about how everything we do, affects the world around us. We learn. We change.

Blue Apple is committed to contributing 2% of revenues to environmental and social causes, in a combination of cash, in kind and volunteered time. In 2023, the total was 2.3%.
