Hickatee Cottages offers the best of both worlds: award-winning accommodation in a lovely jungle setting yet only a couple of miles from 'downtown' Punta Gorda (PG) in the Toledo District of Southern Belize. Intentionally small, and decidedly quiet, we have six cottage houses to accommodate all of your travel needs.

Ex-Servicemen's Kitchen/Bar is the heart of our property, acting as your primary gathering point, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, bar area, lounging area, and plenty of tables for seating. We have over a mile of nature trails on site offering excellent flora and fauna, birding opportunities, regular sighting of our resident troop of howler monkeys, and more!

Hickatee is off-grid and predominantly solar-powered. We offer comfortable rooms, a low-key relaxed atmosphere, and personal attention during your stay. We pride ourselves on giving excellent value for money, including WiFi access, private grounds, use of our splash pool, access to our on-site managed butterfly farm owned by Fallen Stones Butterfly Farm and use of cruiser bikes.
