The Mundo Maya Organization has recognized the restaurant for its exceptional contribution to preserving Mayan culture. It is celebrated as the only restaurant in Belize to incorporate a Mayan buffet into its menu, showcasing traditional dishes and keeping a vital part of Mayan heritage alive.

Elvi’s Kitchen is also brought to life with live entertainment from local artists on special Caribbean and Mexican Nights.
