The tours are roughly 2.5 hours and include stops at four freshwater blue holes, the intriguing “Buffy Flower” (a spring wildflower), a bat-inhabited rat cave, and native pine coppice. There’s optional swimming at one of the blue holes—either via ladder or a 20‑foot diving deck. Visitors should watch for yellow-crowned night herons, Bahama lizard cuckoos, wild orchids, bromeliads, and more. Barbara also shares local lore and serves fresh Bahamian fruits like sapodilla and jelly coconut.
