Belly River Campground
Foxes, bear and deer are common through the area. A campground host program operates in this campground. Belly River Campground has 24 campsites available only on a first-come, first-served basis.
Driving Directions from Nearest Town or Landmark
From the Montana-Alberta border crossing at Chief Mountain, drive a few minutes north on Provincial Highway 6 to the campground access road.
From the north, drive Provincial Highway 6 towards the Chief Mountain border crossing. After crossing the Belly River, look for the campground access road on the west side of the highway.
Facilities Available
A pleasant area of mixed aspen forest, this primitive campground lies right beside the Belly River, and is favoured by those campers wanting a more secluded experience. Foxes, bear and deer are common through the area.
Group camping is available for 25 or more people. Call (403)859-2224 for reservations. Reservations are not accepted for single site camping.
